UTC Brasil is associated of the Interstate Tobacco Industry Union (SindiTabaco) – http://www.sinditabaco.com.br and ABIFUMO https://abifumo.org.br/, operating in the Integrated Tobacco Production System. UTC Brasil respects people, environment, and stakeholders, having severe policies related to ESG programs.

The main partners and shareholders are Contraf-Nicotex-Tobacco GmbH (CNT) – https://cntgroup.de, based in Heilbronn, Germany, and United Tobacco Company (UTC) – https://utcleaf.com, based in Wilson, North Carolina, United States.

UTC Brasil started its processing activities in 2013, in the Industrial District of Venâncio Aires. At the end of 2021, the company change its headquarters and factory to Santa Cruz do Sul, with the acquisition of a processing unit in the Industrial District, at BR 471- Km 149.53.

UTC Brasil centralized the operations of Rio Grande do Sul in Santa Cruz do Sul, having tobacco buying branches in Mafra (Santa Catarina) and São João do Triunfo (Paraná).
