The Sustainability Tobacco Program is a process of understanding and continuously evaluating the impacts of UTC Brazil's value chain, aiming to minimize environmental impacts and improve the socioeconomic conditions of the people and communities it operates in, while providing financial returns.
In general, this is achieved through risk assessment, the development and implementation of best practices that balance priorities, and the continuous monitoring and pursuit of improvement.
The UTC Brazil committee has been established with the objective of developing and monitoring environmental, social, and governance actions, maintaining the continuous improvement of the STP Program, as well as other programs related to sustainability or of interest to the company.
